Ann's Baby Sweater

Ann is a long time knitter who comes in regularly with Ernesto - he & Riley are best friends.Recently she finished a modified February baby sweater knit without the lace pattern using Koigu. She brought it by for us to see before it was sent off to a lucky baby.

The color is perfect & the owl buttons seem to be made for fall and that colorway. What a great sweater - perfect for parents who don't want to find out if they are expecting a boy or a girl!

Breathtaking

It feels so good to be back in the shop again but I'll always treasure the time spent with Adam & Riley on our trip west to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Devils Tower & The Badlands.

The Grand Teton's from across Jackson Lake

Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park

Devil's Tower National Monument

The Badlands National Park

On our way back the timing was perfect for a visit to our friends at Lorna's Laces in Chicago! It was great to see Beth Casey again and go on a fantastic tour of her studio. Beth showed us how the yarn is dyed from beginning to end - it was heaven. I was surrounded by gorgeous yarns & colors that were breathtaking.

We picked up the shop's fall order & left with a hug and the hopes that we'll see each other in January in San Diego.

Thank you Beth & everyone at Lorna's!

Throughout the trip & time spent with breathtaking views my needles were constantly clicking. I had a few projects with me & as they are completed updates will be posted.
