At the conclusion of our recently scheduled Winterwear class we had a pair of hats finished by Heather & Melissa.

They were a fast knit using Blue Sky Alpacas Bulky yarn & hat pattern. Very nice job ladies.

Jackie knit up this sweater called Dumpling in Rowan Big Wool from the Rowan Babies book (discontinued but we still have some) for her adorable neice Fiona.

The hat is the Bulky Baby Hat from Blue Sky Alpacas. Jackie used the Rowan Big Wool so that it would match the sweater. What a gorgeous set on a beautiful little girl!

Big Bad Baby Blanket

After years of loving the simplistic & beautiful pattern we decided to make it ourselves. The Big Bad Baby Blanket pattern from Deb Stollers original Stitch N Bitch is knit out of Koigus' KPPPM held doubled throughout.

And here it is with our favorite mascot, Riley.

Deep in thought.....

Sara's Scarf

Sara came in the other day wearing a newly knit bulky scarf made with Sheep 2, Blue Sky Organic Cotton & Soft Kid.

The colors look great with her red coat & is sure to keep her warm through spring! Below is a closer shot showing more yarn detail.

Kerri's Fruit Cap

Everyone loves the fruit caps pattern by Ann Norling. They are adorable for children and Kerri knit up a very cute one for a special baby on the way.

She used the Cascade 220 superwash in pink & lime green - we think it is a great combination. The pattern is a great intro to colorwork in knitting and was Kerri's first time knitting in the round as well as using the magic loop technique to avoid double pointed needles. She did a great job.

A need for Subway Mittens!!

Heather came in with her new PATH Smart Link card. We knew instantly that this new card used by Hoboken commuters will fit perfectly in these cute mittens, designed for the frigid strap-hanger. Knit up this great pattern from Colleen Meagher, printed in the Winter 2007 Interweave Knits.

We did. In Manos del Uruguay color G coffee.
