Fresh Catch of the Day!

We're excited to introduce Lobster Pot Yarns!

These gorgeous yarns are hand dyed by Susan Macurdy in her Cape Cod home. She dyes them in lobster pots on her stove, hangs them to dry & then ships them off to us to knit with!

With 11 new bright and cheerful colors we know they're going to be a sure hit.

Winter Cold Delivers New Yarns

New packages are fun to receive from our favorite UPS delivery person Danny. Blue Sky Alpacas has extended their cotton line to include multi-colored skeins lending themselves to a hand-dye look.
They are very fun colors and make for a great baby blanket or childs sweater. I am making the Baby Hoodie by in the blue multi color named "slushie".

It is not yet complete as the hood still needs to be knit as well as the rib trim but so far I am very pleased with the results. The yarn is very easy to work with and makes for a soft cozy childs garment.

Oh how we love Spud & Chloe

Spud & Chloe was an instant shop favorite when it arrived in fall 2009 and continues to be as we progress in the new year. They have great patterns for adults & children and the yarn is fantastic for family knits as it is machine washable. Mac & Me have a few patterns written for the yarns as well - a very popular one is #106 outer baby blanket.

This blanket has been knit by customers in every shade Spud & Chloe outer that we have! Here it is cabon #7203. It is a great blanket & cuddly and warm for any special little one in your life.
