They are adorable, cozy & friendly for people who don't want wool! They come out a bit tighter which is great for women as the pattern is written for men. A fantastic quick knit for someone special on your holiday gift list!

He's all set for the change of season - great job Chris!
It is a quick knit on size 11 needles & took 8 hanks. I look forward to bundling up in it come cool evenings. Riley enjoys it too.

I knit it using two Rowan yarns held together. Kid Classic in Peat, and Felted Tweed in Treacle. We've come up with many color combinations that would make an amazing shawl, to show a few:
Cast on in October and you'll soon have your own November Ruffle Shawl!

Measure the width of the scarf in from one end of edge (about 6 to 8 inches) and place 3 buttons evenly across scarf.
Attach and crochet 3 loops along side edge of other end of scarf to match buttons. (I crocheted a 12 chain loop for mine!) I also pinned the scarf together to help match the loops and buttons.
I hope you'll come by the shop and give this quick and easy scarf a go! The yarn is SUPER soft and makes such a beautiful subtle striping effect!
