Hoboken Parade Day!

Saturday March 6th was the annual Hoboken St. Patrick's Day Parade. I was honored as the Community Service Award recipient. My husband Adam and I were invited to march in the parade.

We were humbled to march directly behind the Irish Woman of the Year, Carol Ann Wilson. The parade also honored prominent Hobokenites including the Grand Marshal, Bernadette Cunning Perhson, and state dignitaries including Senators Menendez, Lautenberg, and former Senator Kenny.

As we approached 4th Street, we could see the Patricia's Yarns group cheering us on in matching t-shirts! Thank you everyone! This made our day!

I would especially like to thank all of the people who help to make Patricia's Yarn's charity events special - you are the reason I was awarded this year. Thank you also to the Hoboken Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee! We had a wonderful time this year and look forward to a great celebration again next year! We'll be the ones in the parade behind the Patricia's Yarns banner. Below are a few more pics from yesterday. As you can see, the Irish eyes were smiling. It was a beautiful day in Hoboken!
