Courtney Kelley and Kate Gagnon Osbourne, owners of the beautiful Fibre Company Yarns, came to visit us in November and told us they were working on a book of new patterns. Were they ever!

We are thrilled to have copies of the book, Vintage Modern Knits, in stock and are inspired to cast on. Deciding on what to make, however, is not easy as there are many patterns that peak our interests. Where to start? Got Sheep?

We do! We bought Sheep through Heifer International! In a perfect world, everyone would have a pasture of sheep, alpaca and every other beautiful yarn-bearing friend. In reality, many of us need sheep solely for knitting - while others need them to sustain their lives. So we are very proud to say that, with your help, we were able to raise enough money to buy two sheep through our "Buy a sheep" program! We had beautiful paper sheep adorn our walls for the Holidays and, even better, we know we (yes, that includes you) did something to help make the world a better place - sheep and all.
